The Mouse

This evening I was just minding my own business, cleaning up my dorm room a bit when screaming erupted in the kitchen. Upon further investigation I found out that a Rattigan, that friendly little critter, had snuck his way into our dorm! A teenie tiny, yet quick-as-lightning mouse was hiding beneath our refrigerator. Now all our door cracks are stuffed with towels and there is a mouse trap in the kitchen. I'm just praying he goes and dies soon. Is that so wrong? Wishing death upon our invader? I'll even write him a sweet eulogy, just... please Rattigan. Go for that peanut butter death trap.

Then I played scrabble with Angela from next door, only we decided to switch it up a bit and ended up playing in German. It was open book, of course.

When I finally got back to my dorm, I was feeling exhausted and emotional for some reason. ? Anyways, I made myself a 'think' playlist (aka for when I am either depressed or feeling intellectual, doesnt happen too often, but it doesn't hurt to have one on hand) and then got to thinking about the past year. There is so much. I moved to Holland, my best friend passed away, I had knee surgery, I moved to Utah for college, I picked my major, I realized some important things about myself. Unfortunately I lived in the past this evening and wallowed.

But, in looking to the future-- I still have yet to make any New Year's resolutions. So I guess now is as good a time as any.

I resolve to not watch movies illegally online anymore.

Okay thats enough, I don't want to overdo it. I'll keep you posted on my progress. Even though this blog probably has about 3 people who ever will read it. but I guess its better that way.
