I might start doing some political blogs, but I'm not sure yet. I feel much more informed now that I am a NPR fanatic and a CSPAN junkie. oh, and I read the economist all the time. where has sara gone? she's GONE i tell you!!?!?!

OH, I went to the Scandinavian Festival they hold here and have a Scandinavian calendar I am sure you will totally dig. So I am bringing it with me in the fall and you can tak a lookie.

HELP! My grandmother is crazy! You don't know me, but I googled "crazy and Grandmother" and found you. The other day my 80 year old grandma came over after returning from the RNC, and SCRAPED OFF all my anti-republican bumper stickers.

So I did what any normal adult human female in a state of rage would do. I called her a "f**ing nazi!" That might seem like a bit of an over-reaction, but if you knew her like I do, and have had to deal with her for 25 years in silence about her various outrages, you would find it totally reasonable. She wrote me an email scolding me for my language, and I wanted to use more profanity but settled on silence. then I got this email this morning:
"If you used this language in a court you would be removed from the courtroom, regardless of the merits of your case.
if you were in a town meeting, you would no longer be allowed to speak, no matter how good your point.
Such language ends dialogue and it ends it between you and me until you apologize for it.
This is an opportunity to learn that this language is unacceptable, before you learn it a harder way."
So now this maniac is trying to teach ME A LESSON!? What a bunch of B***$***!!! (ha ha) and she wants me to apologize for my language when she is guilty of destruction of property? I don't even know where to start tackling this. Any advice for a total stranger?
