1st day of school

Good stuff! :)

I started my classes today. Worked a bit, got my TA office hours all scheduled, and went to the gym. Everything is going well. I met a couple of really cool people in my ward on Sunday and saw them again at FHE tonight.


ran into nicole today. might have a date set up for me by her with some friend's brother. woohoo. ha. i sound so unenthusiastic. but if it ends up happening, that'd be cool i guess.

I think my roommates and I are going to have a very good apartment, with very little drama. I like them. They've actually turned out to be really nice. and my room roommate seems to have pretty good taste in music.


portuguese is going to be difficult, but since i really want to learn it, I guess I'll have to sacrifice and work hard for once in my life.


I want to learn to work hard this semester. I want to prioritize and do the important things first, and do them well. I want to get to know my professors. I want to feel good about the amount of effort I am putting into my work.
