The Apartment Below

The apartment below me is full of incredibly annoying girls. right now they are making high pitched "beeeep" noises. Don't ask me why- they live to be obnoxious, I'm almost positive. At church I had to ask them to be quiet in Relief Society because their whispering was drowning out the girl teaching. I don't understand how some people can have such blatant disregard for others. Its plain rude. And I don't like them. Maybe I can find pics of them on facebook to show you.
Nope. That was unsuccessful. What a pity. They just reek of brattiness, and all things I don't like about Utah. Even though they are from Arizona. whatever.

and who knows, karma may come to bite me and i'll end up being besties with them. oh please no.

make the Utah Puff STOPPPPPPP!!

The Russian Way

today I got burned.

and I asked Larisa if she had any Aloe Vera. She didnt, but what she did have was an old russian remedy... Sour Cream.

needless to say, it smelled a bit, but cooled it down. I hope its not too bad for it ;)

Going Back to BYU

So its official. I am going back to Utah for Summer term. I have been thinking about it for a while, but thinking it was not only impossible, but also not a good option for me. I now have about 10 hours per week working for Jenny, and hopefully I can pick up another part-time job to keep making enough money while still going to school.

I am going to take stats for econ and atleast 1 other class while I work and such. I hope that this works out well. I felt like I wasn't really given a clear answer either way when I was praying and fasting about this. So I think the choice is up to me, and things seem to be working out as far as money and school goes. Rachel and Peter will help and support me in my endeavors and I know it will work out, even if it is a challenge. I am grateful for my ability to even make this choice.

Living in the Past & Future

I was told by a four year old today

"woah you just burped like a sheep!"

as I was babysitting, and mind you... I WAS attempting to squelch the burp.

Five minutes later, Camille was burping out of control.

what a cutie.

Camille is my friend Malcolm's niece (she has 3 other siblings I was babysitting as well)

and I used to be madly in love with Malcolm. As much as I don't like him anymore, whenever I am around him I end up acting like a complete idiot because that part of me comes out again. Today he came over to do some work for Dr. Scott, (his brother in law) while I was babysitting.. We talked for a while. It was nice, but every time I am around him, I wish I could just go back in time.

Same thing happens with Darci, only a bit different. thats an oxymoron I guess. every time I am around her I start thinking about Allison, because thats the reason we became friends in the first place.

Allison would have turned twenty tomorrow. Its been just over a year since the accident. As I think about this, I want to go back in time, yet again.

She would have been home for the summer, and we would have been hanging out this weekend. Stargazing or watching movies, nothing spectacular, but when I am around Darci I can't help but think of this.

That's Me, Allison and Darci at Prom in '06 I think...

Here's a more recent photo of her and darci

Why do I live in the past and the future but never the present? While I'm in a situation it is lame and boring, but when I look back, it was the most fabulous time ever.

I read a good quote today, we can never get enough of what we do not need. THere is so much in this world that is unnecessary. I should go buy some flowers for Allison's grave tonight. I promised Becca we'd watch Much Ado About Nothing, but I should do this before tomorrow morning.

Top Five/Bottom Five

So yesterday I drove back from Utah to the great state of Oregon.

Top Five: in no particular order

Sleeping in my own bed

Seeing my family

The green grass, trees, etc etc

My cat

NO SNOW

Bottom Five:

Allergies
Living on the 3rd floor
Starting work on Monday
Having to eat what my mom buys (lunch today was lentils, celery, carrots, snap peas, cucumber)
Unpacking my stuff

yesterday I was really restless as my dad and I approached the Columbia River Gorge, so I decided to do 40 minutes of dancing/exercising with my arms. There was this nerdy kid in some red chevy car's passenger seat who we kept on passing and who passed us several times as well, and every time our cars passed each other he'd dance. and we had this little dancing party down the I-84 :)

I think Emily and I will hang out tonight. I should call Kristin too. I miss all my friends from here, but honestly, I kind of wish I was still back at school, because life at home is kind of boring at times. Its only 2:30pm and I totally feel like I've been up for FOREVER.

and I want to work out.

but I have no gym membership. SAD DAY.
