I made my New Years' resolutions this week. Its a bit late, I am aware, but I still decided to make them.
1. Keep up with my studying and do as much of the readings for my classes as possible.
2. Not dwell on things past as much. Concentrate on the present and the future.
3. Work out atleast 3x per week.
4. Read the Book of Mormon before the end of the semester again.
5. Don't judge as much. Be nicer to people and give them a chance.
So those are some of them. They are both very difficult and very easy at the same time, so we'll see how this goes.
Also. I am getting my esophagus scoped this coming Wednesday. I've got acid reflux and they are checking the damage. The worst part about this whole GERD ordeal is that I can't eat a whole bunch of things. Ex. tomatoes, citrus, mint, fatty foods, chocolate, onions, garlic, spicy foods.... which means no mexican or italian food, my main lifesource here at college. At the same time, I am going off sugar with Mom and Dad, so it is becoming increasingly more difficult to find satisfying yummy things, and takes a lot of self-control. At the same time, I am trying to stay positive about it, because it might be a blessing in disguise that will help me lose some weight, which is always nice. SO. that's my life right now, and its pretty good. not fabulous but pretty good.
